Dr. Bartosz Ogórek Has Won a Grant from the National Science Centre

It is our pleasure to announce that a project by a member of our staff, Dr. Bartosz Ogórek, has been qualified for financing from the “Sonata” grant sponsored by the National Science Centre of Poland. The title of the project is “Przejście płodności w Polsce międzywojennej” (“The Demographic Transition in Interwar Poland”). Thanks to this grant, Dr. Ogórek will explore the shift away from a high birth rate demographic model in the 1930s Poland.
