Mateusz Drozdowski, since 2019 Assistant Professor of the contemporary history in the Institute of History and Archival Studies at the Pedagogical University of Kraków. He offers courses both in history of the 20th century and tourism. Author of a monograph (published in 2017) analyzing issue of the Polish Supreme National Committee: the organization that played important role in the process of regaining Polish independence in the time of World War I. His current research focuses primarily on the history of the late 20th century, in particular international aspects of changes taking place in Poland at the turn of 1980’s and 1990’s. Beneficiary of the “MINIATURA” grant of NCN (National Science Centre).

Apart from academic activities he worked for 12 years in a tourist industry in Kraków.
